NEW STAFF AT COOKS!
Cooks sales teams are growing. Recently we have welcomed Nick Gregory as a sales assistant in Sheffield and Kate McGinley and Karen Mander on sales in Coventry.

NEW BAND SAWS
Recent additions to the range of saws at both Sheffield and Coventry are two Danobat bandsaw. These machines are the CP420 and CP520 AN/HS models with the new PASO PASO control systems.

These high performance machines allow greater use of carbide blades which mean faster cutting times for customers' orders.

NEW OFFICES AND A NEW SALES PERSON AT DON ROADMarch 2007 saw the opening of the office extension at Don Road.
 
George H Cook’s Sheffield sales team have now moved into the new surroundings, giving everyone much more space.  Also, in March, Wayne Drabble joined the sales team in Sheffield bringing his extensive experience in stockholding to COOKS.

MEET US AT THE PLASTICS INNOVATION EXHIBITIONA date for your diary. 

We will be exhibiting at the PLASTICS INNOVATION EXHIBITION on May 23rd and 24th 2007 at the RICOH ARENA in Coventry (home of Coventry City F.C.).  The plastic mould tool market is very important for COOKS and the show will focus on the major benefits that can be gained from specifying TOOLOX 33 and TOOLOX 44, the revolutionary new grades produced by SSAB in Sweden and stocked and sold in the UK by COOKS.  Technical colleagues from SSAB together with our staff will be at the show to answer any questions you might have about TOOLOX grades.

NEW HOME FOR GEORGE H COOK COVENTRY

We have recently moved from our old premises in Ibstock Road to a brand new warehouse at Swallowgate Business Park, Holbrook Lane in Coventry.

The old buildings that had been our Coventry base for over 20 years were not suitable for an expanding business, so it was decided to relocate to a splendid new facility with over 20,000 square feet of warehouse space. At the same time, new racking, handling equipment and saws have been installed to cope with the increased business through Cooks Coventry.

The official opening took place on 23 March 2006 when the Cogne President,
Mr Giuseppe Marzorati declared the new warehouse open. The new site is now fully operational and Craig Hancock, the Coventry manager, and his team can be contacted on:
