George H Cook & Co Ltd has, since 2003, been a member of the Cogne Acciai Speciali Group based in Aosta, Italy. Cogne are a major European special steel producer producing Stainless Steels, Tool Steels and other special steel products. Cogne have a world wide distribution network with several companies in the UK; Cogne UK Ltd, George H Cook & Co Ltd, GM Elder (Special Steels) Ltd and Cogne Stainless Reinforcement UK Limited. Toolox

Toolox 33 and Toolox 44 are new pre-hardendtool steel grade manufactured by SSAB of Oxelosund in Sweden. These versitile grades are used in many applications ranging from plastic mould tools to press-brake tooling. Cooks are a stockholder and proccesor of the Toolox grades for the UK market.
